VEMOD is a young label. Here is where we actually stand.

We make small quantities

Each piece is produced in a small run. Nothing is made speculatively in volume, and when something sells out it goes to a waitlist rather than into a warehouse. It means you sometimes wait. It also means we are not left with stock to discount, destroy, or push.

We work in natural cloth

Wool, cashmere, linen, cotton and silk — woven in Italy and England, at mills that have been doing this for generations. The fibre and the origin are printed on every product page, so you can check rather than take our word for it.

We make things that can be kept

Tailoring is one of the few kinds of clothing that can genuinely be altered and repaired. A coat cut properly, from good cloth, can be worn for decades and passed on afterwards. That is the most meaningful thing a garment can do, and it is what we design for.
