Terms of service
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 September 2026
These terms apply when you use vemod.studio and when you buy from us. VEMOD is a brand owned and run by Vemod Store AB. Please read the terms before you place an order. You accept them at checkout, and the version you accept applies to that order.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law in Sweden, Norway or your country of residence.
1. About us
Vemod Store AB
Corporate ID no. (org. nr): 559589-9674
Klövjestigen 10, 142 31 Skogås, Sweden
Email: order@vemod.studio
Phone: +46 73 804 17 07
We sell to consumers in the European Union and Norway.
2. Who can buy
- You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
- We deliver to addresses in EU member states and Norway. A few special territories are excluded. See our Shipping Policy.
- Our shop is for private customers. We may decline orders that appear to be placed for resale.
3. Our products
We describe every piece as accurately as we can, including its materials, measurements, fit and care. If you are unsure about sizing, write to us before you order and we will help.
Colours can look different depending on your screen. We work with natural fibres such as wool, silk, cotton and linen, which can vary slightly in shade and texture between pieces. These variations are part of the material, not faults.
Showing a product on the website does not guarantee that it is in stock. Items in your shopping bag are not reserved until you complete your order.
4. Waitlist and pre-orders
Waitlist. Some pieces are not yet available to buy. You can join the waitlist for a product and size, and we will email you when it becomes available. Joining is free and does not commit you to buy. It does not reserve the item or guarantee that it will become available. We explain how we handle your email address in our Privacy Policy.
Pre-orders. When a product is sold as a pre-order, the product page and checkout show an estimated dispatch time. For pre-orders:
- Payment is taken when you place the order.
- You can cancel at any time before the item is dispatched, and we will refund everything you paid.
- If we expect to miss the estimated dispatch time, we will email you a new estimate. You can then choose to wait or to cancel for a full refund.
- If we cannot deliver the item, we will cancel the order and refund you in full within 14 days.
- Your 14-day right of withdrawal starts when you receive the item, as with any other order.
5. Prices
- Prices are shown in the currency of your market, for example SEK or EUR. For delivery within the EU, prices include VAT.
- For delivery to Norway, prices do not include Swedish VAT. You pay Norwegian import VAT, any customs duty and the carrier's clearance fee on delivery. See our Shipping Policy.
- Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
- If your bank or card issuer converts currency, it may charge its own fees. We do not control these.
- When we show a reduced price, the reference price is the lowest price we have charged for that product in the 30 days before the reduction.
- We do not adjust the price of an order if our price changes after you have ordered.
If a price or product description is obviously wrong, for example because of a technical or typing error, we are not bound by it. We will contact you, and you can either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
6. Placing an order and forming the agreement
Before you pay, checkout shows a summary of your order where you can check and correct your details. By completing payment, you place a binding order.
We then send an order confirmation by email. The purchase agreement is formed when we send that confirmation. Please keep it, as it contains your order number and the details of your purchase.
We may still cancel all or part of an order if the item turns out to be unavailable, if there is an obvious error in price or product information, if payment is not approved, or if we reasonably suspect fraud or resale. If we do, we will tell you promptly and refund everything you paid within 14 days.
7. Changing or cancelling an order
To change or cancel an order, email order@vemod.studio as soon as possible. If the order has not been dispatched, we will change it or cancel it and give you a full refund. Once it has been dispatched, you can use your right of withdrawal instead (section 10).
8. Payment
- Payments are processed securely through Shopify's checkout. We never see or store your full card details.
- The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout. They include major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
- Your payment is charged when you place the order, including for pre-orders.
- If you pay through a third-party provider, such as a wallet or invoice service, that provider's own terms also apply.
9. Delivery
Delivery options, costs and estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy and shown at checkout. Unless we have agreed a different time, for example a pre-order dispatch estimate, we deliver within 30 days of the order.
The risk for the goods passes to you when you, or someone you have named other than the carrier, receives them. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please tell the carrier and us straight away.
10. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The period starts on the day you receive the item. If your order arrives in several deliveries, it starts on the day you receive the last one. This applies to full-price and reduced-price items alike.
You pay the cost of sending the item back. We refund the price of the item and, if you return the whole order, the standard delivery cost. How to withdraw, how to return the item and how refunds work are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Faulty items and complaints
If an item is faulty or does not match what you ordered, you have the rights given by consumer law:
- Sweden and the EU. Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen 2022:260), you can complain about a fault for up to three years from receiving the item. Tell us within a reasonable time after you notice the problem. A complaint made within two months is always in time. A fault that appears within two years of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless we can show otherwise.
- Norway. Under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven), the complaint period is two years, or five years for items intended to last considerably longer.
- If you live in another EU country, you also keep any mandatory protection that its law gives you.
The following are not faults: normal wear, damage caused by not following the care instructions, alterations made by someone other than us, and the natural character of the material described in section 3.
How to complain: email order@vemod.studio with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem. Please wait for our reply before sending anything back. If the complaint is valid, we cover the return shipping. Depending on the fault and what the law allows, we will repair or replace the item, or give you a price reduction or a refund.
12. Intellectual property
All content on vemod.studio is owned by or licensed to Vemod Store AB. That includes text, photographs, film, illustrations, graphics, product designs, logos and the design of the website itself. You may view it and share links to it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, publish, sell, modify or otherwise use it commercially without our written permission.
The VEMOD name and logo are our trademarks, and using the website gives you no right to use them. For press and collaboration enquiries, contact info@vemod.studio.
13. Information on the website and links
We work to keep the information on the website correct and up to date, but errors can occur. We may change content, products and prices at any time without notice. Changes never affect orders we have already confirmed, except as described in section 5.
The website may link to websites run by others. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or how they handle personal data.
14. Use of the website
You may not use the website in a way that breaks the law, harms us or other visitors, or interferes with how it works. This includes automated purchasing and scraping. If these terms are broken, we may block access to the website, cancel the orders involved and take other legal action.
15. Our liability
We are responsible for our products and services as set out in these terms and in mandatory consumer law. Unless mandatory law says otherwise, we are not liable for indirect loss, such as loss of income. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, for example for intent or gross negligence, or under product liability law.
16. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we could not reasonably have foreseen or avoided. Examples include war, pandemic, strike, fire, flood, extreme weather, a public authority decision, a major failure of energy or IT systems, and serious disruption at our suppliers or carriers. We will tell you as soon as possible. If such an event lasts more than one month, either of us may cancel the affected order, and you will receive a full refund.
17. Personal data and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including for the waitlist, newsletters and cookies. You can change your cookie choices at any time through the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the website.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law or our services change. The version published on the website when you place your order applies to that order.
19. If a provision is invalid
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms still apply.
20. Complaints and disputes
If you are unhappy with something, contact us first at clientservices@vemod.studio. We will do our best to find a fair solution. If we cannot agree, you can take the matter to an independent body:
- Sweden: the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. We take part in ARN's proceedings.
- Norway: the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet), which mediates and can refer the case to the Consumer Complaints Committee (Forbrukerklageutvalget), forbrukerradet.no.
- Other EU countries: the European Consumer Centre in your country (ECC-Net) can help with cross-border complaints. In Sweden it is Konsument Europa, and in Norway it is Forbruker Europa.
21. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Swedish law. This does not take away the protection given to you by mandatory consumer law in your country of residence. Disputes may be tried by a Swedish general court. As a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
